On November 7, the 2024 beneFit Prize awards were presented at the Aranybástya event hall, recognizing winners in three different categories.
Five professional awards were granted—for small, medium, large, and mega-companies, as well as nonprofit organizations. Audience choice awards were also presented to the most popular companies, and the expert jury awarded special prizes to organizations with unique solutions.
The primary aim of the project was to expand the range of applicant companies and organizations that work not only for their success but also to shape the future economy and society. This year, the applicant companies represented 430,000 employees, up from 296,000 last year.
In her opening speech, Zsuzsa Mihalik, the founder of the BeneFit Prize, highlighted the close relationship between productivity and workplace well-being as a crucial factor for future strategy development, aiding retention, recruitment, and business success through a happy, satisfied, and healthy workforce. Mihalik emphasized that a culture of well-being often remains a mere slogan or is presented as a generic health program managed by HR to tactically address healthcare costs. True well-being, however, is not just a “program” or a “current topic,” but a mindset, an ethos, and a cultural direction.
All You Can Move (AYCM), in partnership with Humánpolitika.com, founded the BeneFit Prize in 2019. The unique, comprehensive competition provides companies the opportunity to showcase any methods, programs, or benefits they offer as caring employers to support employee well-being. The application also aims to foster education, mutual encouragement, motivation, and potential future partnerships.
The professional jury included representatives from: AYCM, DM Hungary, MVM Group, Semmelweis University, Union Insurance, Spirit Hotel Thermal Spa, Blue Colibri, LegitiMo Legal Insurance, PlazmaPont, DokiApp, Rewin, Európa Design, SkillON, HR Solutions Agency
